The previously reported upcoming South Boston cafe called Brew is apparently part of the Briar Group, Boston Restaurant Talk reports. It'll open next month in a recently opened event space, District Hall. The Briar Group also includes Ned Devine's, Anthem Kitchen, The Harp, and several other bars and restaurants. [BRT]
