An upcoming Caribbean restaurant was originally slated to open in mid-August along McGrath Highway in Somerville but hit some permitting delays. Now, Some 'Ting Nice Caribbean Restaurant's GM tells Eater that they're getting closer. A final inspection could occur in about a week and a half, and if all goes well, it'll soon be time to "feed yo senses" on dishes like cassava pone, beef patties, and salt fish.
Some 'Ting Nice previously told Eater that diners will be able to enjoy a "wide range of Caribbean dishes and juices," including "soups and salads" and "chicken lunch specials from $6.99." While you wait for the opening, head over to the restaurant's Facebook page for occasional Caribbean-themed trivia questions.
