village%20pizza%20house.jpgBrookline Village's Village Pizza House is battling some cybersquatting drama after its one-time web design firm allegedly held the restaurant's domain name for ransom when the restaurant decided to change firms for a later website redesign. Not only that, but the original firm also allegedly put ads on the site for other pizza joints, listed lower prices that Village Pizza House had to honor to preserve customer relationships, and posted an incorrect address. The restaurant has sued the firm, EIC, and is seeking $100,000 in lost profits, plus damages and lawyer's fees. [UHub]
