The Bacon Truck had its grand opening this weekend at the SOWA Open Market, where it'll continue to peddle pork products for the rest of the season (and at some other fairs and events as well). The hope is to be on the streets of Boston most days come spring, co-owner Sam Williams previously told Eater.
As one would expect, The Bacon Truck's menu focuses heavily on bacon, mostly within sandwiches. There's the B.E.L.T., for example (bacon, curry egg salad, iceberg lettuce, beefsteak tomatoes, mayo) and a turkey club (house roasted turkey breast, bacon, beefsteak tomatoes, arugula, and chimichurri aioli). There are also "assorted bacon desserts," including the ultimate internet food meme, Nutella-covered bacon.
