Originally from Reading, but now headquartered in Allston, Swissbäkers Bakery and Cafe is ready to expand; however, the owners haven't decided where to go. They've posted a poll on their website asking customers for input into the decision. In the immediate Boston area, the bakery is considering Kendall Square, the Financial District, Davis Square, Harvard Square, Copley, or the Seaport. They are also looking at Melrose and Andover, which were both behind in early voting. The Allston flagship has a massive 12,000 square foot production bakery, so additional expansion could be on the horizon.
