So you haven't yet ventured out to Union Square for your A4 Pizza fix, complete with video games and Hoodsies? Here's a little tour of the cozy space to jumpstart your pizza-filled dreams, from glossy wood and mismatched chairs to a bear's head and a Chewbacca poster. The new restaurant is the little sibling of Kendall Square's Area Four, and the menu features a roster of individual-sized pizzas with a few non-pizza appetizer options. Wondering what the "secret peetza" is that's mentioned in the signage below? We won't spill all the details, but let's just say that there might be a fried egg involved.
Oh, and another not-quite-secret tidbit: late-night, half-priced slices. (A slice, in this case, equals a half of a pie.) The oven is off but still quite warm, and you can grab a limited selection of rewarmed slices, half-off, after 11pm. And as of this Sunday, September 15th, A4 Pizza will be open seven days a week, from 5pm to 1am daily.
