This Saturday, August 9th, will be the final day of service for Cambridge's Tamarind Bay, a nine-year-old Indian restaurant nestled in an upscale basement-level space on Winthrop Street. In an e-newsletter today, the restaurant announced that it has lost its lease. "We are looking for a new location in Cambridge, but we are sad to leave Harvard Square."
The restaurant closed its other location back in May after the chef's visa was denied; that Brookline space is becoming Tim Maslow's Ribelle.
