Sweet Tooth, a popular seven-year-old bakery in South Boston, is opening up a new location in Boston's Downtown Crossing this fall, according to the bakery's website. An employee confirmed that it'll be at The Corner Mall, which has a small food court with offerings like McDonald's, Sakura Japan, and Thai Accent. Sweet Tooth specializes in elaborate custom cakes as well as cupcakes, pies, and pastries, plus catering packages that include hors d'oeuvres and other non-desserts. For DTXers who can't wait until fall, a Yelp user notes that Sweet Tooth cupcakes and mini flourless chocolate cakes are being carried at the mega Walgreens on Washington Street.
