New, 5 comments

DOWNTOWN — As previously rumored, Tavern on the Square is indeed opening a South Station location. It will be a free-standing, 700-square-foot location in the middle of the train station with "over 30 draft beers, full liquor menu, state of the art flat screen TVs, and a creative menu," according to a Craigslist post, and it will be "the only alcohol service in the station." BEACON HILL — The upcoming Beacon Hill location of gourmet nut shop Fastachi, which is based in Watertown, was previously on track for a fall opening. Now it'll be early 2014 instead. [Beacon Hill Patch]

HYDE PARK — A Hyde Park restaurant serving New England cuisine has shuttered. Annabelle's, a three-year-old restaurant and function space, has a sign on the door indicating that it is closed, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. [BRT]
