Area Four and Five Horses Expansions; Steakcation

UNION SQUARE — Area Four shares a behind-the-scenes photo from the "soon-to-be-open (but not soon enough!)" Somerville location, which will be called A4 Pizza. Rumor has it there'll be Atari and beer (and pizza). [FB]

SOUTH END — Finally, some movement on the long-planned South End expansion of Davis Square's Five Horses Tavern. The restaurant is now hiring line and prep cooks and all front-of-house positions for the new location, according to dual posts on Craigslist, but there's still no announced opening date. [CL]

WATERFRONT — Go on a delightfully meaty "steakcation" this Saturday, July 6th, with EAT Boston and Wines of France. For $20, you can sing "I'm on a boat" all afternoon while sampling beefy dishes from Michael Scelfo of the upcoming Alden & Harlow. [EAT Boston]
