Fenmore American Bistro Opens Today

It's opening day for Fenmore American Bistro, according to the restaurant's Facebook page, and as the name suggests, it's in the Fenway/Kenmore neighborhood, located in the former Maluken space in the Hotel Buckminster. The name also readily abbreviates to the cringe-inducing FAB, which the owners apparently hope will become a thing, according to an article in The Improper Bostonian. One request: Stop trying to make FAB happen.

The 80-seat restaurant will feature a "limited but select" American menu, general manager George Michalik tells the Improper. Think lobster sliders, burgers, and Boston cream pie. Fenmore opens at 4pm today but will subsequently serve lunch and dinner daily from 11:30am to midnight. Daily breakfast, starting at 6:30am, will launch on August 12th.
