Boston could be getting a location of Plaza Azteca, a casual Mexican chain, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The New England branch of the restaurant's website autoplays "Tequila" by The Champs when you visit, so you know it's going to be authentic.
The menu runs the expected gamut from tacos to enchiladas to fajitas (no word on whether they sizzle) and beyond. While a Hingham location is mere weeks from opening, the website indicates that a mystery Boston location is on the way. Up in these parts, Plaza Azteca is already open in Methuen and Worcester, along with several Connecticut locations. The 10-year plan? 50 New England locations. Plaza Azteca also has a number of Southern locations, particularly in Virginia.
