Meatballs Notably Absent at An Tua Nua Replacement

Shortly before its demise, An Tua Nua introduced an all-meatball menu (well, meatballs and whoopie pies) under the name A Meatball Joint. But An Tua Nua closed in June, so it was goodbye to the meatballs.

Very shortly thereafter, it became clear that An Tua Nua would simply reopen under a new (and "nerdier") name, Arc, and the bar's attorney told the Boston Licensing Board that there wouldn't really be major changes to the food, drinks, or staff. But alas, A Meatball Joint did not resurface with the opening of Arc. The Arc menu is now available on Facebook, and it features non-meatball bar food like fish & chips, mac & cheese, hot wings, and fried pickles. "WHAT A DIFFERENCE from the weird meatball-centric menu from the last owners," commented one Facebook fan. Also, a Yelper reports that there is a "hotdog window" near the pool table.
