Excited Chowhounders report that as of today, the new Chinatown location of Chelmsford-based Gene's Chinese Flatbread Cafe is finally open. The original location has long been a destination for food enthusiasts in search of hand-pulled noodles and other Chinese cuisine from the Xi'an region, best known for its terracotta army. One Chowhound user who visited today reports that the cumin lamb dish "did right by me" while another tried the hand-pulled noodles and predicts that "this place will be packed very soon." The new Gene's location is open 11am to 4pm on weekdays.
UPDATE: Several readers have noted that the location is actually in Downtown Crossing rather than Chinatown.
