For Greasy Spoons Week, chefs around town have created upscale homages to their favorite greasy spoon fare. The Metropolitan Club's chef Cory Williams is offering foie gras-studded meatloaf with potatoes aligot (gruyere mashed potatoes), shaved summer truffle, and summer truffle demi. The decadent dish is available through July 21st for dinner ($23). "Meatloaf is the American standard of greasy spoons," says Williams. "And what could be better?"
