Patio Pig Roast; Chowderfest Celebrates the Big 32

HARVARD SQUARE — The Sinclair hosts a patio pig roast on Tuesday, July 9th, at 7pm. Tickets are $45 and include four courses (one is a slow-roasted suckling pig with sticky rice, spicy grilled pineapple, and Chinese watercress) and three tiki-style cocktails. [FB]

GOVERNMENT CENTER — It's almost time for the 32nd annual Boston Chowderfest, part of Boston Harborfest. Between 11am and 6pm this Sunday, chowder lovers can taste and vote on a variety of iterations ($13 admission). Participating restaurants include Anthem Kitchen + Bar, Ipswich Clambake Company, Wyndham Beacon Hill, Hyatt Harborside Grill, Chart House, and Waterline. [Official Site]
