Prior murmurings about a new Legal Sea Foods restaurant in the imminent Downtown Crossing luxury condo tower Millennium Place have been confirmed by the Herald. "The Hub restaurant chain will debut a new concept, Legal Crossing (LX)" with a planned opening timeframe of November 2013. Anyone can walk on in, but "exclusive amenities" will be available to those who live in the building. Those lucky inhabitants of the 265 units will have access to a venue called The Club, which will have "an owner's lounge and private dining room with a special menu." Legal Crossing joins other offshoots of the standard Legal Sea Foods concept including Legal Test Kitchen, Legal Harborside and Legal C Bar. Legal Sea Foods is known for its user-friendly renditions of New England classics like clam chowder and fish and chips. Members of The Club can likely expect more exclusive versions of those dishes, such as gold-encrusted fish and chips and clam chowder swimming with precious gems. (Unconfirmed.)
