Mystery Restaurant With Wood-Fired Oven for C-Town

A yet unnamed restaurant with a wood-fired oven is in the planning phase for Hayes Square in Charlestown. The Charlestown Patch says that Messrs. John Paine and Michael Cooney have announced their plans to open said restaurant at 5-7 Moulton Street, next to McCarthy Bros. Liquors in what was once a Tuttles Dry Cleaners. The restaurant aims to have 65 seats and to serve "American cuisine, craft beer and wine, with food cooked in a wood-fired oven" that is "not expensive and not cheap" and includes local ingredients. Expect a November 2013 opening. And, most likely, a name before that point. Stay tuned for updates and do send any of your own to the tipline.

APRIL 2014 UPDATE: The restaurant will be called The Brewer's Fork, and it will have a beer garden.
