Thailand Cafe Could Close This Weekend

The long-rumored demise of Thailand Cafe due to the upcoming Forest City office and lab development appears to be just a few days away. Several Chowhound users report being told by staff members that this Sunday, June 30th, would be the last day in business, and there are currently no plans to reopen because they couldn't find a space near MIT. Despite its name, Thailand Cafe has a reputation for forgettable Thai food but an outstanding Sichuan menu.
