Back in October, the Hotel Buckminster in Kenmore Square shared a rendering of a "stylish and casual" restaurant and bar that would replace its Japanese restaurant, Maluken, in spring 2013. Spring has come and gone with no opening, but it appears that the upcoming restaurant is now hiring, Boston Restaurant Talk reports. The October Facebook post solicited suggestions for a name, and users chimed in with ideas like Buck's Pub, Sullivan's Fix ("after the bookie who fixed the 1919 World Series from one of [the hotel's] rooms"), and The 737, but the final decision appears to be a portmanteau of Fenway and Kenmore: Fenmore American Bistro. Per the upcoming restaurant's Facebook page, it will serve "fabulous American cuisine in a casual atmosphere."
