FROMG! In the latest froyo news of FroZenYo coming to Downtown Crossing and Davis Square getting a Pinkberry smack dab in between Orange Leaf and iYO Cafe, a few other breaking bits of froyo news have fallen under the radar:

· In Harvard Square, California-based chain Yogurtland is now open at 57 JFK St., according to Boston Restaurant Talk. There's also a location in Brookline, and two more are slated for Back Bay and Newton Centre. Flavors include Root Beer Float, Black Sesame Vanilla, Birthday Cupcake Batter, and Blood Orange Tart. The self-serve shop opens at 11am seven days a week and closes at 11pm Sunday through Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.

· In the Financial District, newish "marketplace eatery" Café de Boston has just introduced a self-serve froyo station with four gluten-free, fat-free, Kosher flavors: Country Vanilla, Chocolate Classic, Very Strawberry, and vegan Mango Tango sorbet. Toppings include sprinkles, Heath Bar crumble, fruit, and sauces. Café de Boston is open from 7am to 4pm on weekdays and closed on weekends.
