Society on High has now soft opened and will have a grand opening party on July 10th. The Financial District restaurant, which is the latest project from Sorriso and Les Zygomates chef/owner Ian Just, features dishes like miso-glazed Virginia catfish, littleneck clam linguine, and grilled chicken thighs, not to mention the previously reported "Elvis" - peanut butter cheesecake with caramelized bananas and candied bacon. ("Bacon in desert [sic]? How edgy! It's like 2009 up in this bitch!" writes one anonymous Eater Boston commenter.) Society on High serves lunch 11:30am to 2:30pm, dinner 5pm to 10pm, and a bar menu from 2:30pm to 10pm six days a week (closed Sunday). Eventually, there will be patio seating available.
