Globe Critic Devra First Returns from Maternity Leave

This week, the Globe's Devra First, on maternity leave since Thanksgiving, resumed her post as food critic. Given the multiple visits required to do a review, it might be some time before we see her first new article. The Globe's most recent review, of Blue Dragon, did not go out under her byline. This should come as welcome news to some who have complained about the quality of Globe reviews in her absence. Where do you think she'll review next?

Also back on the scene is former food editor of the defunct Boston Phoenix, Cassandra Landry . Today sees two bylines from Landry. In the Metro, she offers a review and profile of Tavern Road's new takeout and lunch counter nook TR Street Foods. She has also started a column for Boston Magazine featuring the region's food vendors with a profile on Sunny Seafood's proprietor Steve Dulock.
