Dunkies is Boston's Cleanest and Dirtiest Coffeeshop

Boston-based mobile app startup Mobee sent a bunch of users on a "mystery shopping mission" to 500 different coffeeshops to determine which locations were the cleanest and dirtiest, based on percentage rankings. The verdict? Dunkies. Also, Dunkies. Nine out of ten of the coffeeshops with the highest rankings for cleanliness were Dunkin' Donuts locations, and ten out of ten of the coffeeshops with the lowest rankings were also Dunkin' Donuts. Why? According to a press release, "Dunkin' Donuts appears most on the list due to the volume of stores in the area." And that, folks, is a lesson in statistics.
