FINANCIAL DISTRICT - Luxe South Station-area sushi palace O Ya is offering single session sake classes once a month for the next 3 months. Classes cost $145 and the June session is centered around a rarity in Boston - unpasteurized Sake. [Eventbrite]

DOWNTOWN - On May 19, City Hall Plaza will play host to the 2nd annual Japan Festival Boston. Attendees will be able to purchase Japanese food from more than 30 vendors, meet and hear from more than 80 business and cultural organizations, and watch dance and music shows from the stage over the course of the day.
