Davio's Cucina at The Movies Premieres

A select few diners had an opportunity to sample food from the upcoming Davio's Cucina at last night's opening party for National Amusements's Chestnut Hill Showcase Super Lux movie theater, reports the Globe. The 250-seat restaurant will be serving both lunch and dinner for pre- and post- movie goers and will also have a full bar. Food prices will be lower than at other Davio's locations. Previously, Davio's CEO Steve DiFillippo and National Amusements president Shari Redstone have stated a success in Chestnut Hill could lead to opening additional Davio's Cucinas in theaters throughout the world. According to a Davio's Facebook post first noted by Boston Restaurant Talk, the restaurant will open on June 11.
