Genki Ya Opens Fourth Location in The Theater District

Sushi restaurant Genki Ya is now in the Theater District with a new location at 232 Tremont Street in what used to be Shanghai Restaurant Bar & Lounge. Genki Ya started in Brookline and has since expanded to Cambridge and Dedham before setting up shop here, just a few blocks from Chinatown. Genki Ya primarily traffics in sushi, with the somewhat unusual option of a multigrain filler - the restaurant's name apparently refers to "health and energy" - though other Japanese dishes including soba, udon, tempura and katsu are also served.
