Bread and Butter, a new bakery and cafe for the North End, flung wide its doors four days ago and is now serving breakfast pizzas, pulled pork sandwiches, kale and farro salad and of course pastries from chef Lee Napoli of ChocoLee Chocolates in the South End. Napoli is also an alum of Sandrine's in Harvard Square, the former Maison Robert and Anago, and is the president of the Boston chapter of women's industry organization Les Dames D'Escoffier and the founder of the New England Pastry Chefs Guild. So, she can make pastry. And there isn't much like this in the North End. In the words of a press release for Bread and Butter, "tourists: get your chicken parm elsewhere." The cafe is open seven days a week: 7AM to 9PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7AM to 11PM Thursday and Friday, 8AM to 9PM on Saturday, and 8AM to 7PM on Sunday. Once upon a time, this was Caffe Graffiti. See below to behold the transformation.
