Finch is Boston's newest addition to the hotel dining and drinking scene, having opened in The Boxer hotel last week, which is itself a new addition, replacing what was formerly the Bullfinch Hotel. The new West End hotel venue serves New England-influenced American cuisine - i.e. chicken salad with locally sourced cranberries - in its corner of what was once the Flatiron Building, dating back to 1904. So, period influences are to be expected, what with the building's history and increasingly nostalgic local dining and drinking trends. Those leanings also manifest in the decor, which features the nearly de rigueur antique lighting fixtures and reclaimed wood communal dining tables. The 70-seat Finch is open seven days a week, from 6:30AM to 10:00PM, with the bar serving until 11PM on Friday and Saturday. Take a virtual stroll through the photo gallery above, and see here for the breakfast, dinner and drink menus.
