Lizzy's of East Cambridge is indeed open once again. The Cambridge Street restaurant closed in January 2013 before teasing last week that it would reopen "in the very near future." The future is now: a Chowhound poster notes and the Lizzy's Facebook page confirms that doors reopened yesterday, May 21. There, a triumphant proclamation declares "Yeah, we are open." Eater hears that the menu will be tighter and the hours shorter. Per Facebook, Lizzy's now opens at 5PM. One Facebook fan makes no bones about their expectations, writing "Stay the fuck open this time!"
