And Now DooWee & Rice Is Heading to Wonder Bar

Powderhouse Square chicken heart favorite DooWee & Rice confirmed plans for a London expansion yesterday - yeah, that London - and now the restaurant shares some news closer to home: another expansion, this time to Allston. DooWee & Rice owner Duy Tran hinted at something along those lines yesterday, and a recent Facebook post confirms that the restaurant is partnering with Wonder Bar on Harvard Ave, saying "Can you imagine beers and baos? Well, now it's just a matter of when....Soon!" Which really isn't so surprising for those who know their DooWee history (DooWeeStory?) - the restaurant made its earliest appearances with preview meals at Wonder Bar last year. Stay tuned for further details about precisely how the collaboration will work and when it will go into effect.
