The Financial District is poised for a new eating and drinking establishment called Warehouse Bar & Grille, says Boston.com. The venue is headed for the corner of Milk and Broad Street, at 40 Broad Street, and per the Boston.com article, the restaurant is slated for mid-August with "a modern industrial design, polished concrete floors, an exposed ceiling, stainless steel accents, and a monochromatic palate." Conceptually, the venue will fall somewhere between sport bar and upscale. Which means televisions. The official Facebook page says Stephanie's on Newbury alum Nathaniel Durost will serve as executive chef. Boston Restaurant Talk notes that this space was formerly the home of Knoll Office Furniture. According to a conceptual rendering of the bar, there will be green chairs, happy folk in business attire, and some bartender cleavage.

If the name sounds familiar, it could be because there's a The Warehouse Bar & Grill in Virginia, The Warehouse Bar and Grill in California, The Warehouse Sports Bar & Grill in Indiana and Warehouse Grille in Louisiana, but what a difference a "The," ampersand or extra "e" can make.
