SOUTH END - Boston Chops opened its doors in March, and now it's opening its outdoors. A new, 28-seat patio debuts tonight at the Washington Street restaurant. Full dinner and drink menus will be offered plus "off-menu delights for adventurous eaters." [Official Site]
CAMBRIDGE - Kendall Square brewpub favorite Cambridge Brewing Company has announced a new beer called Collier Stout to honor slain MIT police officer Sean Collier. Per the Globe, the dry Irish stout should be available in mid-June, and $1 from each sale will be donated to a memorial fund through the Jimmy Fund. [BG via BRT]
