It is our sad duty to announce to Eater Boston readers today that Aaron Kagan, the founding editor of Eater Boston and its driving life force since October 2011, is moving on. He's transitioning into full time teaching out of state and we wish him the best in his new career path.
As Kagan moves on, we're looking for some fresh blood to take over the reins here at Eater Boston. This gig will be either part time or full time based on experience, and you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as it keeps your ear close to ground for good restaurant and nightlife intel and be available to blog for us on a daily basis. Which brings us to this: Are you obsessed with restaurants, chefs, news, gossip and all the fun drama that goes hand in hand with the Boston restaurant world? Do you think you're the perfect next editor of Eater Boston?
If so, write us a paragraph about yourself (omitting stories of childhood food memories svp) and a paragraph about why you think you're right for the job and email it to jobs@eater.com with the subject line "Eater Boston Editor." If you've got a personal blog, Tumblr or Twitter, include links to those as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll follow up quickly.
