Chef Daniel Harrison Dumont is now "responsible for all hotel culinary operations" as executive chef the luxury Back Bay hotel Taj Boston, says Hospitality.net. Hotel dining venues include the creatively named The Bar, The Cafe and The Roof as well as the tea service in The French Room. Dumont has a lengthy hotel restaurant resume, including Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Spa in New Castle, New Hampshire and the Delray Marriot in Delray Beach, Florida. Dumont also served as vice president of culinary operations and corporate chef for Ocean Properties, whose clients include The Sagamore Resort Lake George in New York and The Samoset Resort in Maine. The article appeared yesterday but does not mention when Dumont started his new role, and the hotel was not available for comment: stay tuned for updates and, as always, send any chef shuffle intel of your own to the tipline.
