Pastry chef Lee Napoli of ChocoLee Chocolates in the South End is indeed opening her own bakery and cafe called Bread + Butter, at 64 Cross Street in the former home of Caffe Graffiti. Bread + Butter will be open seven days a week, with early hours, and a press release says the venue will feature "a full menu of creative, from-scratch food at popular prices, and in a self-service atmosphere." On the menu: éclairs, croissants, napoleons, sandwiches, entrees, coffee, salads, and ChocoLee Chocolates. The space will feature a big window so that everyone can see chef Napoli in action. Previously, restaurateur Brian Lesser suggested there could be more locations to come. Expect a late May opening.
