Beantown Taqueria of the Central-MIT vicinity is looking to open nearby on Western Ave while a new restaurant called Spice & Noodle may come to Mass Ave near Harvard, says Boston Restaurant Talk, who gleans those details from recent city license commission hearing notes. If approved, Beantown Taqueria would heave 18 seats and would serve lunch and dinner every day of the week, perhaps including menu items like tacos, burritos and chimichangas, which it currently serves across town. Meanwhile, Spice & Noodle is looking to open with just under 80 seats in the space that is now the Harvard Law School location of campus bookstore The Coop. Know more about either restaurant? Hit up that tipline.
Update: Grub Street confirms that the Western Ave location of Beantown Taqueria will be an expansion of the original, meaning soon there will be two locations. [GS]
