Burritos Express Seized; Bacon and Beer Fest Coming Up

FENWAY - Tickets for Eat Boston's 2013 Bacon and Beer Fest go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM. This event notoriously sells out quickly, so if you want to sample a whole lot of bacon and beer at the House of Blues on May 4th, better get a ticket right away. DOWNTOWN - Burritos Express has apparently been seized by the city "per order of the trial court." No word yet on whether it will reopen or what will happen with its three remaining locations in Hyde Park, JP, and Dorchester. [BRT]

HUBWIDE - The New York Times' Frugal Traveler blogger Seth Kugel ate his way through a Boston weekend for $100, making inexpensive stops at Mei Mei Street Kitchen, Wally's Cafe, Clio, Clover, Galleria Umberto, and beyond. [NYT]
