Updated: Restaurants Respond to Marathon Bombings

The Boston restaurant community continues to respond to the attack on the Boston Marathon with its usual show of generosity and solidarity. See below for a list of offers to first responders, fundraising events and more. The list will continue to be updated as more comes in, so please send any additions to boston@eater.com.

EatBoston is collaborating with a GoFundMe campaign to "give free meals at Boston restaurants and bars to the men and women who put their lives on the line for the city they love, and to help us all feel safe again." Here's how to get involved. [Official Site]

Throughout May, various Boston bars and restaurants will participate in DrinkOne, in which drink proceeds will be donated to the victims of the bombings. Wheeler del Toro of various pop-ups and 3 Scoops in Brighton and Mark O'Leary of Guchi's Midnight Ramen are donating proceeds from an Iron Chef-style ramen "battle" to victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. April 28, 6PM. See here for more details. [Forklift]

Each Wednesday in May, juice and smoothie shop Nourish Your Soul in West Medford will donate 10% of sales to The One Fund. [Official Site]

From now till May 15, Haru will donate 100% of the sales of their Boston unCommon and Back Bay specialty sushi rolls to The One Fund. Haru will also contribute a donation matching the total of those sales. [Official Site]

Strega Waterfront will be hosting a "celebrity bartender" event on May 13 from 6PM to 8PM in the bar area. All proceeds of drinks purchased from the guest bartender to to The One Fund. [Official Site]

On May 1, The Columbus Group will donate a portion of proceeds from dinner service to The One Fund at the following restaurants: Sorellina, Mistral, Teatro, Moo and L'Andana Grill. Donations can also be made via each restaurants' social media pages that night. [Official Site]

BOKX 109 American Prime at Hotel Indigo in Newton will donate 100% of sales of the 123 Short Rib ($32) throughout the month of May to The One Fund. [Official Site]

Cheers is donating $10,000.00 from the foundation Cheers for Children to The One Fund. A special T-shirt will also be sold in their retail stores for $15.00, and 100% of those sales will also be donated to The One Fund. [Official Site]

On April 26 Earl of Sandwich on the Boston Common will offer free sandwiches to first responders from all city and state agencies and area hospitals. To redeem the discount, guests will simply present their official ID upon ordering. [Official Site]

Craigie on Main will be offering its "Chef's Whim" tasting menu (four courses for $45 or six courses for $57) on April 30 with all proceeds from those meals being donated to victims of the marathon bombing. 617.497.5511. [Official Site]

All sales of pints and pretzels at the Harpoon Brewery will go to the One Fund, which assists victims of the attacks, during a series of upcoming "Brewed for Boston" events. Employees will also be donating their time. April 30 and May 7, 6PM to 9PM at the Harpoon Beer Hall. [BH]

The Grand Canal wants to thank first responders "for their heroic work during these past few days in the aftermath of the bombings at the Boston Marathon." And so the restaurant and bar is offering a free appetizer to any first responders with a badge - police, fire, medical - through the end of the month. 617. 523.1112.

El Pelon Taqueria has offered to temporarily staff displaced restaurant workers, says Grub Street. "My crew is willing to cut their own hours and job share until the restaurants affected reopen." [GS]

Figaro's Boston donated lunch for the Emergency Room staff at Mass General Hospital and suggests that others do, too: "Everyone can do the same .. Call ahead, tight security." [Twitter]

Central Bottle, The Blue Room and Belly Wine Bar will be donating all sales of glasses and bottles of rosé sold on April 25 to The One Fund. The event also coincides with the Venetian rosebud festival Festa del Boccolo. See here for more details. [Official Site]

The Brahmin says it will provide "free pasta/salad and free soda for all the workers" and displaced residents in Back Bay. Restaurant founder Russ de Mariano shares a statement saying "Thank you all and lets stay strong for each other and help each other out." [Official Site]

Williams Sonoma in Copley Square will be preparing and serving coffee and baked goods for the Boston Police Department, Fire Department, Boston Service Personnel, and staff from Boston's area hospitals. Please have personnel show an ID badge or equivalent to participate. "This will be a re-occurring event so that we have the chance to feed and thank as many of these inspiring people as we can." On April 22, the staff at Five Horses Tavern in Davis Square will

Complimentary all-you-can-eat clam chowder on April 16 and April 17 at the Park Square Legal Sea Foods, for emergency personnel (BPD, BFD) and local, state and federal authorities involved in the investigation. They'll have it ready for takeout for those who show their badge. [Official Site]

Starting at 12PM on April 16 and going all day, Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont is holding an open house for people who feel the need to gather. They're also accepting donations and taking over $1,700 raised last month for a Winchester expansion and instead donating it to victims of the attacks. [Official Site]

Last night Bondir in Cambridge donated 100% of proceeds towards a relief fund. Bondir also says to expect an organized night of giving on April 17, through the Greg Hill Foundation. Updates to come. [Official Site]
