Here's Spice & Rice Becoming Hit Wicket

Inman Square is poised to receive the country's first cricket-themed restaurant, called Hit Wicket, which is moving into the niche vacated by Spice and Rice, which has since merged with Sugar & Spice in Porter Square. Here's a construction shot detailing the transition. Eventually, the space will look like something like this. Expect a May opening and dishes reflecting the cuisines of the many countries in which cricket (sport, not insect) is popular, from Sri Lanka to New Zealand.
