Chef Matthew Gaudet of West Bridge in Kendall Square has been named one of ten Best New Chefs by Food & Wine magazine. West Bridge opened in May 2012 and quickly earned a prominent spot in the local dining scene, thanks in part to high marks from Boston's food media, including earning three and half stars out of a possible four from the Globe's Devra First, four stars out of five from B.N. Lee for The Improper Bostonian and high praise from MC Slim JB in The Phoenix. West Bridge also won Boston's Restaurant of the Year in the 2012 Eater Awards. Gaudet is an alum of Eleven Madison Park and Jean-Georges in New York City and Brasserie Jo and Aquitaine Bistro in Back Bay and the South End. In conclusion, West Bridge is officially now a huge deal. Good luck getting a reservation, and see Eater National for the full list of winners.
