Beacon Street Tavern Closes Tomorrow, Will Transform

Beacon Street Tavern at 1032 Beacon Street in Brookline, which is also known as Beacon Tavern and which contains the Nite Cap Lounge, will be closing tomorrow, April 16, per the restaurant's website. Boston Restaurant Talk hears that the restaurant "will reopen as a different kind of dining spot under the same ownership." BRT also notes that the venue is owned by the same folks who own the Washington Square Tavern.
