El Centro chef-owner Allan Rodriguez is making good on his plans to expand from the South End to Brookline. A tipster sends in the above photo, taken yesterday, of the second El Centro in progress, in which a piece of the decor from the Tibetan restaurant Tashi Delek that was formerly here is still visible. Rodriguez previously told Eater that he was hoping to open at the end of last year with 25 seats, a small bar, "more contemporary" decor than at the original, a very similar menu, lunch, dinner, and brunch. Stay tuned for updates and, as always, pass your own along to the tipline.
