When 58-year-old Harvard Square restaurant Casablanca closed its doors at the end of last year, many wondered what would happen to its legendary murals by the late artist David Omar White. It was ultimately decided that they'd stay close to home, simply moving into the restaurant's upstairs neighbor, the Brattle Theatre. Russell House Tavern chef Michael Scelfo is in the process of opening his own restaurant, Alden & Harlow, in the Casablanca space, and today he shared this photo of the murals, now off the wall and ready to head upstairs.
