New Treat on the Street

Needham-based Treat Cupcake Bar is nearly ready to open up a second shop, and this one will be along the rapidly developing The Street Chestnut Hill, also home to Massachusetts' first ever Shake Shack, which you might have heard about. "Don't want to jinx it but we're hoping to open in the next week or so!" tweeted Treat on Tuesday. "No set date at this time."

Sure, there are plenty of cupcakes around town, but Treat has an added bonus: you can decorate your own creation at the cupcake bar. If you're not in the mood to decorate, ready-made flavors include Funky Chunky Oreo, Sprinkle Me Silly, and Elvis Impersonutter.

And if you "LOVE cupcakes" and are seeking work, the new location is now hiring, according to a CraigsList posting from this morning.
