Mr. Maslow Goes to Providence; Another Pinkberry

WATERTOWN/PROVIDENCE - The crew at Strip-T's in Watertown will be taking over the newish north in Providence for a dinner on April 9. Common thread? The chefs of both restaurants are alumni of David Chang restaurants in NYC. A portion of sales for the five-dish dinner go to the Rhode Island Food Bank: see here for tickets and more details. SOMERVILLE/BOSTON - Watch Boston Burger Co. chef and co-owner Paul Malvone get beat up by children - and then, it seems, flatulate as a signal of defeat - in this Kickstarter video. The company is raising funds to complete its own salsa production facility. [Kickstarter]

CHESTNUT HILL - A new location of froyo titan Pinkberry opens soon at "The Street" in Chestnut Hill, which is perhaps best known as the site of the first Shake Shack in Massachusetts. Pinkberry will be giving away free yogurt from 6PM to 9PM on Thursday, April 4 and will then officially open on April 5. [Official Site]
