Allston sushi restaurant Fish Market has been temporarily closed from now until Thursday by the city's licensing board. A tipster shares a photo of the closing notice via Twitter, and a representative from the city tells Eater that the suspension is due to the restaurant's lack of a current license, plus the fact that it was found to be serving alcohol despite not having a license to do so. The Brighton Ave restaurant primarily serves sushi as well as a range of additional Japanese items including udon, tempura and teriyaki and some fusion dishes such as "truffling tuna," described by the restaurant website as "Tuna and black flying fish roe swimming in truffle butter." Again, expect a Thursday reopening.
