The Boylston street restaurant and bar Remington's - aka Remy's - will be closing, says Boston Restaurant Talk, who hears that news from multiple sources. And what does that mean for Dick Doherty's Beantown Comedy Vault, which is located downstairs? According to BRT, the Vault will not go down with the ship and is planning to relocate. The post also notes that the lease is not being renewed, the building is owned by the adjacent Emerson College, and says the venue has been in operation for almost 30 years. Dick's also has locations in Worcester and Methuen. As of now, the Dick's calendar lists shows at the Boston location going through May 4, which may provide a sense of when changes will go into effect. Stay tuned for more details and drop any of your own to the tipline.

Update: looks like Remington's now has until June.
