Toscano Opens in Harvard Square Next Week

Toscano of Beacon Hill will open its second restaurant on Brattle Street in Harvard Square next week, according to the restaurant's website. Per preliminary photos shown there, the space is warmly lit by bowl-shaped ornate glass chandeliers and features a long wooden bar, both tile and wood flooring, dark wood panelling, carved wooden doors and exposed brick walls. Like the original, the Toscano expansion will feature Tuscan cuisine including pizza and pasta, and a prior report puts the seating at 120. Previously, and for 25 years, this was the home of Cafe of India. Know more? Hit up the tipline.
