Updated: Quattro Now Open in The North

Update: It's open!

Quattro is poised to open in the North End tonight, assuming the restaurant passes one final inspection this afternoon. Quattro is the latest venue for restaurateur Frank DePasquale of DePasquale Ventures - which runs other neighborhood establishments including Bricco and Mare Oyster Bar - and has described itself as a sort of pastiche of the group's other restaurants. Quattro occupies the former Il Panino Express space (another DePasquale spot) and features an open kitchen with a Neapolitan brick pizza oven, a marble bar, and lots more marble. Since the restaurant has not yet confirmed whether it will indeed open tonight - though Thrillist says it's happening - best to stay tuned for updates, which will appear here, and drop your own to the tipline.
